So the wedding’s outside? I’ve got you covered!
If you’ve been following this 3 part series, last time we talked about how to dress to a ballroom wedding. Another popular venue for spring and summer weddings are the great outdoors! If you are planning to attend a wedding outdoors this season, I’ve come up with some awesome inspiration!
Think about how you can incorporate earthy colors and practical accessories in a wedding appropriate look. For example, try to avoid stiletto heels, as there’s a good chance you’ll be walking in grass. Opt for wedges, flats, or chunky heels. If the wedding is in the afternoon, consider packing a nice pair of black sunglasses. Neutral colors with pops of colors keeps the look fresh without being too loud. I also try to stay away from short dresses because the wind can be a dangerous [& embarrassing] thing! Check the weather for possible rain or high temperatures. Consider breathable fabrics and layers, should it get chilly as the sun goes down.
