Sit down Kayne West – Grammy Fashion Review

Hello Loves & Happy Monday!

Last night was the highly anticipated Grammy Awards show rich with awkward moments and head turning fashion.

First and foremost, I must rant about Kayne West. Is anyone else completely sick of his boyish tantrums at these award shows? Honestly, it’s like watching a 5 year old be told “No”. End Rant! Sorry about that 🙂

Moving into the GORGEOUS fashion of the evening, there are a few stars who really stood out to me as rocking the red carpet.

jessie j

Jessie J

Jessie rocks this ‘black swan’ look. From the slick hair to the dark lip, this is goth done right. Loving the sheer overlay and floral applique and embellishments giving this gown interesting depth.

john legend

John Legend

John Legend looks fantastic in this sleek and modern charcoal suit. I love the thin satin lapel and tie-less look. Dolce & Gabbana was made for his shape.

katy perry

Katy Perry

Katy Perry made a statement with this Zuhair Murad dress last night. Though a sheer overlay, I love the length of this which adds a bit of modesty to an otherwise sexy number. Tasseled lavender locks and BEAUTIFUL natural makeup was done just right.

tswift

Taylor Swift

Taylor’s long limbs were showcased beautifully in her custom blue Elie Saab gown. I love the slight ombre at her waistline. The fuchsia heels add a bit of unexpected

Aloe Blacc

Aloe Blacc

Uhh!!! My obsession with royal blue suits is on overload right now! Tailored to a tee, this suit was perfect for Aloe’s body shape and skin tone. Accessorizing with shoes and a bow tie just a few shades lighter than the suit itself is pure perfection.

zendaya coleman

Zendaya Coleman

Zendaya was glowing in a jewel-toned Vivienne Westwood number. So gorgeous with her skin tone and dark hair. Her smokey make up with well fitted and minimal jewelry is done just right.

This rounds out my list of fashion favorites for the 2015 Grammys. Who’d I miss?

Until Next Time,

For the love of fashion (& designer suits and gowns),

B. A.
